Wings sign Sug Sutton

Sug Sutton

Dallas Wings signed 27-year-old point guard Sug Sutton (5'8''-1998, college: Texas). She played this summer with Portland Fire. In three WNBA games last season, she averaged 11.3ppg, 1.7rpg, and 5.7apg.
In 2020, she was selected by the Washington Mystics (WNBA) in the third round (25th overall) of the draft.
She graduated from the University of Texas and this will be her eighth season in pro basketball.
Sutton is a highly experienced player, having played in six different countries on three different continents - Europe, Australia, and North America. She has played professionally in Australia for the Townsville Fire, in Israel for Elitzur Ramla, in Poland for Poznan and Wroclaw, in Turkey for Ormanspor, for the Phoenix Mercury in the WNBA, and for the GWBA team Surge.
Among many awards, her team made it to the Israeli League Semifinals in 2025. She was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Polish EBLK Honorable Mention back in 2023.
