AzulMarino signs Kayla Alexander
In 2013 she was drafted by San Antonio Silver Stars (WNBA) in first round (8th overall).
The former Syracuse University star is in her 14th (!!!) season in pro basketball.
She has been also a member of the Canadian international program for some years. Alexander has regularly played for the Canadian senior team since 2009 and previously for the Under 19 National Team back in 2009.
She also represented Canada at the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 Qualifying Tournament in Istanbul (Turkey) this year. During this event she scored an average of 10.6 points per game and had 9 rebounds per game.
Alexander is quite experienced player. She has played in seven different countries on three different continents (Europe, Australia and of course North America). Alexander has played professionally in Australia (Adelaide Lightning), Belgium (Royal Braine), France (Bourges and Lyon), Poland (Gdynia), Russia (Dynamo Novosibirsk Region, Sparta&K Vidnoe Moscow Region, Chevakata and Ivanovo), Turkey (Mersin) and WNBA (Indiana Fever, Minnesota Lynx, S.Antonio SS and Chicago Sky).
Among many awards she won Spanish League championship title in 2025. She was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish League All-Imports Team in 2025.
