San Giovanni welcomes back Nicolodi

Giuditta Nicolodi

Allianz Geas Sesto San Giovanni (Serie A1) has signed 31-year-old ex-international 185cm power forward Giuditta Nicolodi for the new season. It marks her return to Sesto San Giovanni, where she has previously played. Nicolodi spent the last four years at Umana Reyer Venezia in the Serie A1, averaging 2.9ppg and 2.8rpg in 21 games last season. She helped the team reach both the league and Supercup finals, finishing the regular season as the second-best team. Nicolodi also appeared in 11 Euroleague games, averaging 0.3ppg and 1.2rpg.
She was also a member of the Italian international program for some years. Nicolodi played for the Italian Senior National Team back in 2018 and previously for the Under 17 National Team in 2012.
She has played previously for six other teams: Trieste, Ragusa, Vicenza, Vigarano, Lucca, and Campobasso.
Nicolodi's team won the Italian Supercup in 2025. Nicolodi was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie A2 Honorable Mention in 2017.
