Targu Mures keep Corpodean for another season

CS Municipal Targu Mures (Liga Nationala) re-signed experienced 35-year old ex-international 192cm shooting guard Vlad Corpodean, agency: BIG for new season. He played there last season. In 35 Liga Nationala games he averaged 5.5ppg and 4.2rpg. He helped them to make it to the Romanian Cup Semifinals. For two previous seasons (2023-25) he played at another Romanian team CS Municipal Ploiesti. Corpodean also played 38 games in Liga Nationala where he had 5.2ppg and 3.3rpg in 2024-25 year.
He was also a member of the Romanian international program for some years. Corpodean played for the Romanian Senior National Team between 2014 and 2016 and previously for the Under 20 National Team back in 2011.
He has spent his entire career in Romania playing for six other teams: Dinamo Bucuresti, Oradea, Pitesti, Miercurea Ciuc, Constanta, and Galati.
Among many awards, he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Romanian League Honorable Mention back in 2020.
