CSM CSU Oradea (Liga Nationala) confirmed in their roster experienced 35-year old Romanian-Hungarian ex-international power forward Rolland Torok (203cm-98kg-1990, agency: 6th Man Basketball Agency) for the upcoming 2026-27 season. He has played there for the last two seasons. Torok managed to play in three leagues last year. The team played in four different competitions (!!!) that year, and he had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. In 37 Liga Nationala games, he recorded 4.2ppg and 2.4rpg. Torok helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. They also played in the Cup final. He also played 12 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he averaged 3.4ppg and 1.3rpg. Finally, he recorded 1 game in Basketball Champions League, but he did not score anything.
Torok was also a member of the Romanian international program for some years. He played for the Romanian Senior National Team between 2014 and 2023 and previously for the Under 20 National Team back in 2010.
Torok has played previously in Hungary (Kormend) and Romania (Sibiu, Cluj Napoca, Constanta, and Voluntari).
Among many awards, he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Romanian League Honorable Mention back in 2021. He is close to retirement age as a player, and it's very possible he may end his playing career at Oradea.
