Fometescu re-signs at Oradea

Tudor Fometescu

CSM CSU Oradea (Liga Nationala) confirmed in their roster 27-year old international point guard Tudor Fometescu (192cm-1999, agency: 011 Sports). He played there last season. The last season he played at another Romanian team CS Rapid Bucuresti where in 37 Liga Nationala games he had 6.9ppg, 3.6rpg and 1.3apg.
He has also been a member of the Romanian international program for some years. Fometescu has regularly played for the Romanian senior team since 2020 and previously for the Under 20 National Team during 2019.
He also represented Romania at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Pre-Qualifiers last year. During this event, he scored an average of 1 point per game and had 1 rebound per game.
Fometescu has played previously for Pitesti.
In 2025, his team reached the Romanian Cup Final Four.
