MKS keeps Curry for another season

Ronald Curry

MKS Dabrowa Gornicza (OBL) re-signed Ronald Curry for the upcoming season. The 32-year-old American guard, who played at JMU in college, averaged 11.0ppg, 3.0rpg, 4.6apg, and 1.3spg in 28 OBL games last season. In the previous summer of 2025, he played for River Lions in Canada-CEBL, where he averaged 13.1ppg, 3.8rpg, 3.6apg, and 1.2spg with shooting percentages of 52.8% from the field, 37.0% from three-point range, and 73.2% from the free-throw line.
He is a very experienced player. Curry has played professionally in Canada, France (Le Portel), Germany (Telekom Baskets), Hungary (Alba and Szombathely), Latvia (VEF Riga), Portugal (Sporting), Slovenia (Krka), and The Basketball Tournament (Founding Fathers).
Among many awards, he won the CEBL championship title in 2025. He was also voted the Eurobasket.com All-Hungarian League Defensive Player of the Year in 2019.
Curry graduated from James Madison University in 2016 and this will be his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball.
