Jaleen Smith (ex Turk Telekom) joins H.Jerusalem

Jaleen Smith

Defending champion Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem (Winner League) has agreed to terms with 31-year-old American (who also holds a Croatian passport) point guard Jaleen Smith (190cm-93kg-1994, college: UNH). He played last season for Turk Telekom in the Turkish BSL league.
He also represented Croatia at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Pre-Qualifiers last year. During this event, he scored an average of 10.3 points per game and had 2.7 rebounds per game.
Smith, an experienced player, has played professionally in Germany (ALBA Berlin, EnBW Ludwigsburg, and MLP Academics Smithidelberg), Italy (Virtus Bologna), Serbia (Partizan), and the NBA Summer League (Phoenix Suns). His team made it to the Turkish Final Four in 2026.
Among many awards, he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Eurocup All-Imports Team in 2025.
He graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2017 and is currently in his tenth season as a professional player.
