Neptunas keep Girdziunas for another season

Mindaugas Girdziunas

Neptunas Klaipeda (LKL) re-signed experienced 37-year-old ex-international 188cm guard Mindaugas Girdziunas for the upcoming season. He has played there for the last four seasons and helped them reach the semifinals. Girdziunas played 18 games in Eurocup, averaging 8.7ppg, 1.3rpg, and 1.1apg last season. He was a member of the Lithuanian Senior National Team between 2015 and 2022.
Girdziunas has spent his entire career in Lithuania playing for three other teams: Rytas, Nevezis, and Klaipedos Tekoda.
He won the Lithuanian League championship title in 2022. He was voted to Eurobasket.com Lithuanian LKL All-Domestic Players Team in 2018. It may be one of the last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Neptunas.
