Timisoara signs rookie Luca Colceag in his first year in pro basketball

SCM Timisoara strengthened their roster with the addition of 22-year-old Romanian ex-international 206cm forward Luca Colceag, who graduated from UT Martin (NCAA). He recorded 3.5ppg and 2.1rpg in 28 games last season.
He began his college career at Montana State University (NCAA) before transferring to Eastern Florida State College (JUCO).
As mentioned above, he is fresh out of college and it will be his first full season in professional basketball.
Colceag was also a member of the Romanian international program for some years. He played for the Romanian Senior National Team in 2021 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2022.
Colceag represented Romania at the World University Games in Rhine-Ruhr (Germany) last year. During this event, he scored an average of 9.8 points per game and had 5.8 rebounds per game. He played for other colleges such as the University of Northern Colorado, Eastern Florida State College, and Montana State University.
