Melbourne United (NBL) added to their roster 25-year old Dutch international 211cm center Jesse Edwards (college: WVU) for season 2025-26. He played most recently at Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA Summer League. In 5 games he just recently played he recorded 8.2ppg, 3.6rpg and 1.4bpg last season. He also played for another NBA team the Timberwolves in NBA. The last season he played at Wolves in NBA G League. Edwards has been regularly called to the Dutch Senior National Team since 2022. His team made it to the NBA G League Showcase Final Four in 2025.
He was voted to the NABC Reese's Division I College All-Star Game in 2024.
Edwards graduated from West Virginia University in 2024 and it'll be his second season in pro basketball. He played also for Syracuse University for 4 years.
