Anthony Bennett

Al-Najma Manama (Premier League) added to their roster 32-year old Canadian ex-international forward Anthony Bennett (203cm-1993, college: UNLV). He started the season at Dreamers in Taiwanese TPBL. In 5 games he recorded very impressive stats: 16.0ppg, 9.0rpg and 1.2apg. The last season season he was tested by Skygunners (KBL) in South Korean league.
In 2013 he was drafted by Cleveland Cavaliers (NBA) as #1 pick overall. The former University of Nevada - Las Vegas star is in his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
He was also a member of the Canadian international program for some years. Bennett played for Canadian Senior National Team between 2015 and 2022 and previously for the Under 17 National Team back in 2010.
He also represented Canada at the FIBA World Cup 2023 Americas Qualifiers two years ago. Bennett's team won Bronze and he had 8 points per game.
Bennett is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in six different countries. He tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. Bennett has played previously professionally in Israel (Hapoel Jerusalem), Puerto Rico (Cangrejeros), Turkey (Fenerbahce), NBA (Houston Rockets, Brooklyn Nets, Phoenix Suns, Toronto Raptors and Minnesota Timberwolves) and NBA G League (NAZ Suns, Maine Celtics, Raptors 905 Mississauga, Long Island Nets and San Diego Clippers).
He won Euroleauge championship title in 2017.
