Sammy Hunter

KB Trepca Mitrovice (Superliga) strengthened their roster with the addition of 23-year-old Bahamas international forward Sammy Hunter (206cm-102kg-2000, agency: VM Hoops Agency) for the 2024-25 season. He recently graduated from Akron (NCAA). In 34 games, he recorded 8.7ppg and 3.3rpg last season, helping them win the MAC Tournament and finish the regular season as the second-best team in the conference.
Hunter started his college career at The University of Mississippi (NCAA) where he played three seasons. During his high school career, he had spent at British Columbia Christian Academy in Vancouver, BC.
As mentioned above, he is just out of college and it will be his first full season as a pro.
He has also been a member of the Bahamas international program for some years. Hunter has regularly played for the Bahamas senior team since 2018 and previously for the Under 17 National Team in 2017.
He also represented Bahamas at the FIBA Olympic Games Qualifying Tournament in Valencia (Spain) this year. During this event he scored an average of 3 ppg and had rpg.
