VET-CONCEPT Gladiators Trier (ProA) inked 27-year old Syrian-American ex-international 196cm guard Amir Hinton (college: Shaw). He was a member of Syrian Senior National Team between 2021 and 2022. Hinton has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Finland (Kouvot), United Arab Emirates (Al Wasl) and NBA G League (Westchester Knicks). Among many awards his team made it to the UAE League Semifinals in 2023. Hinton was voted to Eurobasket.com Finnish Korisliiga All-Imports Team in 2022. He graduated from Shaw University in 2019 and it is his sixth season in pro basketball. Hinton played also for Lock Haven University for 3 years.
