CSO Voluntari (Liga Nationala) signed 30-year-old Senegalese 204cm forward Mouhamed Barro for the upcoming season. He last played for EWE Baskets Oldenburg in the German BBL league. Barro played in three leagues in two countries last year. In 17 BBL games, he averaged 4.6ppg and 3.8rpg. He also had a pre-season stint at KB Trepca Mitrovice (Superliga) in the Kosovan league. Barro played 14 games in the Kosovan Superliga, averaging 6.3ppg, 6.1rpg, and 1.1apg, helping his team win the Supercup. He also played 5 games in the FIBA Europe Cup, averaging 7.4ppg, 4.0rpg, and 1.2apg.
He is a very experienced player. Barro has played also in France (Lille), Kosovo, Spain (Gran Canaria, Melilla, La Palma, CBA Gran Canaria 2nd team and CB Gran Canaria 2014 Las Palmas 2nd team), Venezuela (Gaiteros) and Romania (Sibiu).
