Arabi inks Avi Toomer, ex Muenster

Avi Toomer

Al Arabi (D1) signed 27-year old American guard Avi Toomer (192cm-86kg-1997, college: Bucknell). He was best passer at Uni Baskets Muenster in German ProA last season where in 37 games he had 9.3ppg, 4.2rpg, 3.7apg and 1.1spg.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at Delta Gurjaani (Superleague) in Georgian league. He also played 24 games in Georgian Superleague where he recorded very impressive stats: 15.2ppg, 6.0rpg, 4.6apg and 1.5spg in that year. Toomer helped them to make it to the Georgian Cup Semifinals. 2022-23 was a great season as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Georgian League Honorable Mention.
He is quite experienced player. Toomer has played also professionally in Georgia, Kosovo (Bashkimi) and Albania (Vllaznia).
He played in the final of Albanian League in 2022.
Toomer is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league on the market.
He graduated from Bucknell University in 2020 and it will be his fifth season as a professional player.
