Al Hilal Benghazi (D1) agreed terms with 29-year old American swingman Elijah Robinson (200cm-102kg-1995, college: Emmanuel, GA). Robinson played last season at Kazma in Kuwaiti D1 league. In four West Asia Super League games he had 10.0ppg and 3.3rpg. He also spent pre-season at La Union (La Liga) in Argentinian league.
Robinson is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in six different countries. He tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. Robinson has played previously professionally in Bahrain (Al-Manama), China (Hefei), Iraq (Dijlah), Romania (Pitesti), Argentina (Atenas and Club Atletico Villa San Martin) and United Arab Emirates (Al Wasl). He won NCCAA D1 South Region championship title in 2017 and 2018.
He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league on the market.
Robinson graduated from Emmanuel College in 2018 and it will be his seventh season as a professional player. He played also for Chattahoochee Technical College-Marietta for 2 years.
