Turk Telekom Ankara (BSL) re-signed 28-year old Canadian international 208cm center Kyle Alexander (college: Tennessee) for new season. Alexander played there last season. In 34 BSL games he averaged 11.1ppg, 6.6rpg, 1.0apg and 1.1bpg. Good season as he was voted League Player of the Week. He also played 19 games in Eurocup where he had 9.4ppg, 6.8rpg, 1.1apg, 1.1spg and 2.2bpg. Alexander helped them to make it to the quarterfinals.
The previous (2023-24) season he played at Hapoel Tel Aviv in Israeli Winner League. In 31 games he recorded 9.5ppg, 6.8rpg and 1.5bpg in that year. He contributed to his team making it to the Israeli Premier League final after they ended regular season as second best team. Alexander can count that year as a very successful as was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Israeli League Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week (2 times). He also played 18 games in Eurocup where he got 10.6ppg, 7.4rpg and 1.5bpg in that year.
Alexander represented Canada at the FIBA World Cup in Philippines-Japan-Indonesia two years ago. His team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 6 games: 3.3ppg, 1.3rpg.
He is a very experienced player. Alexander has played also professionally in Spain (Valencia and Fuenlabrada), NBA (Miami Heat), NBA Summer League (Washington Wizards, Phoenix Suns and Portland Trail Blazers) and Canada (Shooting Stars).
He won NBA Eastern Conference championship title in 2020.
He graduated from University of Tennessee in 2019 and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
