Zane Knowles

NTD BH Baku (ABL) signed 33-year old Bahamas international center Zane Knowles (208cm-116kg-1992, college: TAMUCC, agency: BIG). He was the best rebounder at Cedi Osman in the Turkish TBL league. In 20 games, he had 8.3ppg and 5.8rpg. During the previous (2023-24) season, he played at Atomeromu SE Paks (A Division) in the Hungarian league. He also spent the pre-season at Sigal Prishtina (Superliga) in the Kosovan league. Another team he briefly played for was Levski Sofia (NBL) in the Bulgarian league.
In 2017, three years after graduating, he was drafted by the Wisconsin Herd (G-League) in the third round (68th overall).
He graduated from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi in 2014 and is currently in his twelfth season in pro basketball. He has been regularly called to the Bahamas Senior National Team since 2018.
Knowles is a highly experienced player, having played in eight different countries on three different continents - Europe, Asia, and North America. He has played professionally in Bulgaria, France (Charleville Mezieres and C'Chartres), Greece (PAOK Mateco Thessaloniki), Hungary, Japan (Tokyo Cinq Reves and Wakayama Trians), Kosovo, and Poland (Siarka and Wilki Morskie).
Knowles' team won the Bulgarian Cup in 2020. He played for other colleges such as Pearl River Community College and Grambling State University.
