BRB/Brasilia (NBB) landed 33-year old Bahamas international 205cm power forward David Nesbitt (college: St.Thomas, FL) for new season. Nesbitt played most recently at UniFacisa. In 39 NBB games in Brazil he averaged 9.4ppg and 4.7rpg last season. He helped them to make it to the Brazilian Super 8 final. Nesbitt won Brazilian National League championship title in 2018 and 2019. Nesbitt was voted to Brazilian All-Star Game back in 2018 and 2021. The previous (2022-23) season he played at Bigua in Uruguayan LUB where in two games he had 6.5ppg, 3.5rpg and 1.0apg in that year. Nesbitt has been also a member of Bahamas international program for some years. He has regularly played for Bahamas senior team since 2015 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2008. Nesbitt represented Bahamas at the CBC Championship in Tortola (British Virgin Islands) nine years ago. His team won Silver and his stats at that event were 6 games: 9.0ppg, 7.2rpg, FGP: 50.0%, 3PT: 28.6%, FT: 82.4%. He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in six different countries playing on three different continents. Nesbitt is familiar with Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in Argentina (Boca and Olimpico), Canada (Honey Badgers), Iraq (Al Mina), Kazakhstan (Caspiy Aktau), Brazil (Flamengo, Minas, Paulistano and Corinthians) and Uruguay (Goes). Nesbitt graduated from Saint Thomas University in 2012 and it will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) (!!!) season in pro basketball. He won Brazilian National League championship title in 2018 and 2019. Nesbitt was selected to Brazilian All-Star Game back in 2018 and 2021. He played also for Grayson County College for one year.
