Kasper Suurorg

Trefl Sopot (OBL) added 23-year old Estonian international guard Kasper Suurorg to their roster for the 2025-26 season. He was the top scorer at Kalev/Cramo in the Estonian KML league. Suurorg played in three leagues last year, with 7 FIBA Europe Cup games where he averaged 13.6ppg, 4.3rpg, 5.3apg, and 1.4spg. He also played 9 games in Lat-Est BL, averaging 14.6ppg, 3.1rpg, 4.7apg, and 1.3spg, and 2 games in Basketball Champions League with 11.5ppg, 4.5rpg, 8.5apg, and 1.0bpg. His team was the regular season runner-up in the Latvian-Estonian Basketball League in 2025.
During the 2023-24 season, he played for another Estonian team, TalTech/OPTIBET Tallinn (KML), in Estonia.
He has also been a member of the Estonian international program for some years. Suurorg has regularly played for the Estonian senior team since 2022 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2022.
He also represented Estonia at the FIBA World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers two years ago. Suurorg's team won Bronze and he averaged over 12 ppg.
Suurorg has played professionally in Spain (Prat).
He attended St. Francis College (NY) until 2022 and it will be his fourth season as a pro player. His team was regular season runner-up in Latvian-Estonian Basketball League in 2025.
