Warriors Trade Jonathan Kuminga, Buddy Hield To Hawks For Kristaps Porzingis; End Pursuit Of Giannis Antetokounmpo
Buddy Hield
The Golden State Warriors traded Jonathan Kuminga (6'7''-F-2002) and Buddy Hield (6'4''-G-1993, college: Oklahoma) to the Atlanta Hawks for Kristaps Porzingis (7'3''-C/F-1995) on Wednesday night. The trade also marks the end of the Warriors' chase for Giannis Antetokounmpo. The team, which made several trade offers for Antetokounmpo, came away with the belief that the Bucks would not be parting ways with the 31-year-old this deadline. Draymond Green will also not be traded, with the Warriors excited to pair Green with Porzingis in the front court. Porzingis hasn't played since January 7, but the team hopes to have him "soon." Kuminga averaged 12.5 points on 50.3% shooting for the Warriors this season. Courtesy of: realgm.com
