SPB 2026 - Marinos draft Juan Suero for the Semifinals

Marinos de Anzoategui (SPB) landed 33-year old Dominican Rep. 196cm guard Juan Suero. He moved there from Spartans. In 28 SPB games in Venezuela he just recently played he averaged impressive 15.1ppg, 4.6rpg and 3.4apg last season.
He competed for the Dominican Republic at the Central American and Caribbean Games in San Salvador (El Salvador) three years ago.
Suero is a very experienced player. He has played also in Colombia (Academia, Cimarrones and Storm), Dominican Republic (Mauricio Baez, Gregorio Urbano Gilbert, Cupes, Plaza and Parque Hostos), Israel (Hapoel Ramat Gan Givataim), Mexico (Dorados), Puerto Rico (Cariduros and Gigantes), Spain (Clavijo) and Venezuela (Trotamundos, Gaiteros and Piratas).
Among many awards, he played in the final of the Venezuelan SPB in 2025. Suero was also voted the Latinbasket.com All-Dominican Republic LNB 6th Man of the Year back in 2021.
