Al Markaziyyah welcomes back Castillo

Anyeuri Castillo

Club Centrale Al Markaziyyah Jounieh (DLBL) signed 28-year-old American (who also holds a Dominican Rep. passport) 201cm forward Anyeuri Castillo (college: USC Aiken). It marks his return to Jounieh, where he previously played. Castillo transferred from Pioneros in the Venezuelan SPB league, where he had a successful season. In 7 SPB games, he averaged 13.6ppg, 5.9rpg, 3.1apg, and 1.1spg, earning him the title of League Player of the Week. This season, he is playing for Club Centrale Al Markaziyyah Jounieh.
He is a very experienced player. Castillo has traveled between seven different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, and North America) during his pro career. He has played professionally in Argentina (Riachuelo de La Rioja), Chile (Los Leones), Dominican Republic (San Carlos, Soles, Plaza, and Retiro23), Mexico (Dorados), Spain (Palma Fibwi), and Lebanon (Mayrouba).
Among many awards, his team won the Dominican Republic TBS Regular Season in 2025. Castillo was selected to the Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan SPB Honorable Mention in 2025.
He graduated from University of South Carolina - Aiken in 2021 and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball. Castillo played for other colleges like Kent State University and Central Georgia Technical College.
