MBC-Niko Basket Mykolaiv (Superleague) agreed terms with 20-year-old shooting guard Rostyslav Kabanov (191cm-82kg-2004) for the upcoming 2025-26 season. He has played for the last two years at Zaporizhye. In 23 Superleague games in Ukraine, he had 7.9ppg and 2.2rpg last season.
He represented Ukraine at the FIBA U20 European Championship Division B in Skopje (North Macedonia) two years ago. His team won Bronze and he had an average of almost 6 points per game.
Kabanov has played for two other teams previously: Budivelnyk and BK Khimik Yuzhny 2nd team.
He won the Ukrainian League championship title in 2023.
