Petkim signs Yigit Onan

Yigit Onan

Aliaga Petkimspor Izmir (BSL) signed 23-year old power forward Yigit Onan (207cm-2002) for the upcoming 2026-27 season. He will still stay in Turkey where he played last season at Glint Manisa Basket. In 30 BSL games in Turkey, he had 11.0ppg, 4.9rpg, and 2.0apg. The previous (2024-25) season, he played at another Turkish team Semt77 Yalova Belediye Spor. He also played for another Turkish team Darussafaka Lassa earlier that season.
Onan was a member of the Turkish Under 19 National Team in 2021.
He has played in Serbia (KK Dynamic Vip Pay Beograd), Turkey (Fenerbahce, Besiktas, Gaziantep, Fenerbahce), and Serbia as well.
Onan's team reached the League Semifinals in 2024. He was voted Eurobasket.com All-Turkish League Domestic Player of the Year in 2024.
