Lioneers/57020">Hsinchu Lioneers (TPBL) signed 33-year-old Canadian-Indian ex-international 226cm center Sim Bhullar (college: NM State). He is returning to Lioneers, where he previously played. Bhullar spent the last two years with Ghosthawks in the PLeague+. During 8 TPBL games, he averaged 13.9ppg, 10.9rpg, 2.3apg, and 2.8bpg in the 2023-24 season. Prior to that, he played for Lioneers in the PLeague+ for two seasons (2021-23).
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2015.
Bhullar was also a member of the Canadian international program for some years. He played for the Canadian Senior National Team back in 2015 and previously for the Under 19 National Team in 2011.
Bhullar is a very experienced player. He has played professionally in China (Guangxi), NBA (Sacramento Kings), Taiwan (Yulon Luxgen, Dacin Tigers and Braves), NBA G League (Stockton Kings and Raptors 905 Mississauga), and China.
Bhullar played in the final of Taiwanese T1 League in 2023. He was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Taiwanese T1 League Honorable Mention in 2023.
He graduated from New Mexico State University in 2014 and this will be his twelfth season in pro basketball.
