Jamal George (ex Pully) agreed terms with Golden Eagles

Oral Roberts University added 23-year-old Swiss international 6-5 point guard Jamal George to their roster for the 2026-27 season. He played for Pully in the Swiss SBL league for the last four years. In 20 games last season, he recorded 10.0ppg, 5.2rpg, 3.6apg, and 1.5spg.
He has also been a member of the Swiss international program for some years. George has regularly played for the Swiss senior team since 2024 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2022.
He represented Switzerland at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Pre-Qualifiers last year. During this event, he scored an average of 3.7 points per game and had 1.9 rebounds per game.
George has also played for other Swiss teams such as Monthey-Chablais, Sion, Monthey-Chablais, and Pully Lausanne Foxes Espoirs U23 team.
Between 2024 and 2025, his team made it to the League Semifinals. He received the Eurobasket.com All-Swiss SBL U23 Player of the Year award and was voted to the Eurobasket.com Swiss SBL All-Domestic Players Team in 2024.
