David Gomez will continue his college career at Colorado

David Gomez

The University of Colorado re-signed 22-year-old Spanish 6-9 forward David Gomez. He hails from Sevilla, Spain, and is making the move from the University of Colorado, where he played for only one year.
He played at Real Betis Energia Plus Sevilla U19 team between 2020-21, Next Generation Team Varese U18 team during 2020-22, Real Betis Sevilla in 2022, Grupo Ureta Tizona Burgos during 2022-23, Ciudad de Huelva Baloncesto during 2023-24, Hestia Menorca during 2024-25, and then at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte during 2025-26. He helped his team make it to the Adidas Next Generation Tournament in Varese Finals in 2022. His team won Spanish LEB Plata Cup and Spanish LEB Plata Group West Regular Season Championship in 2023. He helped his team make it to the AAC Tournament Semifinals in 2026.
Gomez represented Spain at the FIBA World Cup U19 in Debrecen (Hungary) three years ago. His team won Gold and he averaged over 4 points per game.
