Sencur Gorenjska Kranj (Liga OTP banka) signed 22-year-old Croatian 206cm center Filip Kalajzic. He most recently played for Gorica in the Croatian Prva Liga. In 15 games, he averaged 13.7ppg, 7.9rpg, 1.9apg, and 1.9bpg this season. He had a successful year, earning the title of League Player of the Week twice. Kalajzic also previously played for KK Zabok in the Premijer Liga in Croatia.
Kalajzic represented Croatia at the FIBA U20 European Championship in Greece three years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 5.3 points per game and had 4.1 rebounds per game.
He has also played for other Croatian teams such as Cibona, Dubrava, Dubrovnik, Zapad, and Cibona Zagreb U18 team.
