Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana (Liga OTP banka) agreed terms with 30-year old Serbian international guard Ognjen Jaramaz (193cm-88kg-1995). He already started the season at Ilirija. In four Liga OTP banka games in Slovenia he had 11.0ppg, 3.0rpg, 5.5apg and 1.0spg. Last season he played at Baskonia (Liga Endesa) in Spanish league. He also played 27 games in Spanish Liga Endesa where he recorded 3.2ppg and 1.0apg.
In 2017, he was drafted by the New York Knicks (NBA) in the second round (58th overall).
Jaramaz has been a member of the Serbian international program for some years. He has regularly played for the Serbian senior team since 2016 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2015.
Jaramaz also represented Serbia at the FIBA World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers two years ago. Jaramaz's team won Gold and he averaged over 6 ppg.
He is a very experienced player. Jaramaz has played in Germany (Bayern Muenchen), Italy, Spain (Burgos), and Serbia (Partizan, Smederevo, and BC Mega MIS Beograd).
Among many awards, his team was the regular season runner-up in the Adriatic League in 2024. He was voted the Eurobasket.com All-Adriatic League European Player of the Year back in 2020.
