Kedainiu Nevezis-Optibet (LKL) signed 27-year-old American 188cm guard Josh Jefferson (college: MTSU). He began the season at Spisski Rytieri in Slovakian Tipos SBL. In 26 games, he averaged an impressive 18.3ppg, 3.0rpg, 3.6apg, and 1.3spg. Last season, he competed for Valur Reykjavik (Subway League) in the Icelandic league.
He is a very experienced player. Jefferson has also played professionally in Iceland, the United Kingdom (Scorchers), and North Macedonia (KK Kumanovo 2009).
He won the Icelandic League championship title in 2024.
Jefferson graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2022 and is in his fourth season in pro basketball. He played for other colleges such as University of Wisconsin - Green Bay, Illinois State University, and Lake Land College.
