Levice welcomes back Juricek

Defending champion Patrioti Levice (Tipos SBL) signed 32-year-old ex-international 211cm power forward Viktor Juricek (college: TAMUCC). It is his return to Levice as he previously played there. Juricek most recently played at Spisski Rytieri in the Tipos SBL for the past four years, helping them reach the semifinals. He appeared in 6 games in the European North Basketball League last season, averaging 2.2ppg and 2.2rpg.
Juricek was also a member of the Slovakian international program for some years. He played for Slovakian Senior National Team between 2016 and 2023 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2013.
Among many awards, he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Slovakian League Honorable Mention in 2024.
Juricek graduated from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi in 2016 and is currently in his tenth season in pro basketball. He also played for the University of South Alabama for 2 years.
