Joffrey Lauvergne

KK Partizan Mozzart Bet Beograd (KLS) signed experienced 34-year old French ex-international center Joffrey Lauvergne (211cm-1991). It is actually his comeback to Belgrade as he has played here before. He started the season at Kuwait in Kuwaiti D1 league. In 8 games he had very impressive stats: 18.5ppg, 12.9rpg, 1.3apg and 1.1spg. He was also named League Player of the Week. The last season he played at ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne Basket (Betclic ELITE ProA) in France. Lauvergne also played 28 games in French Betclic ELITE ProA where he recorded 11.5ppg, 4.1rpg and 1.1apg. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the semifinals. 2024-25 was a great season as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-French League Honorable Mention.
In 2013, he was drafted by the Memphis Grizzlies (NBA) in the second round (55th overall).
Lauvergne was also a member of the French international program for some years. He played for French Senior National Team between 2013 and 2017 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2011.
Lauvergne is a highly experienced player, having played for teams in Kuwait, Lithuania (Zalgiris), Russia (Khimki), Spain (Valencia), Turkey (Fenerbahce), NBA (Chicago Bulls, Denver Nuggets, San Antonio Spurs, and OKC Thunder), and France (Pole France and Chalon/Saor). His team emerged victorious in the Kuwait Supercup in 2026.
Among many awards, he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Lithuanian LKL Center of the Year in 2021.
