Summary of the Case:

The Swedish Player, Jonas Jerebko (208-C-1987), filed a claim against the Russian Club, BC Khimki, for outstanding salaries, compensation, interest and costs. The Claimant submitted that the Respondent wrongfully terminated the agreement and accordingly, the Club is liable to pay the salaries and compensation. In its Answer, the Respondent argued that the Claimant was absent from practice and matches without permission for a certain period of time which entitled the Respondent to fine him and terminate the contract. The Respondent also filed a counterclaim wherein it claimed compensation. The claim was partially upheld and the counterclaim was dismissed.
