BCM U FC Arges Pitesti (Liga Nationala) strengthened their roster with the addition of 27-year-old American 193cm forward Dimitrius Underwood (college: Charleston, agency: Octagon Europe). He started the season at Blue Wings in the Slovakian Tipos SBL. In 25 games, he recorded very impressive stats: 17.4ppg, 7.2rpg, 3.8apg, and 1.4spg. He was also voted League Player of the Week (4 times). Last season, he played at KK Bosna Meridianbet Sarajevo (Division I) in the Bosnia and Herzegovina league. Underwood played 29 games in Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I, where he averaged 9.8ppg, 3.8rpg, 2.4apg, and 1.7spg. He helped them win the regular season and make it to the final, as well as playing in the Cup final. It was a very spectacular season in his career as he was selected to Eurobasket.com Bosnia and Herzegovina League All-Imports Team, League Player of the Week, and Eurobasket.com All-Bosnia and Herzegovina
Underwood is a very experienced player, having played professionally in Bosnia, Serbia (KK Sloga Societe Generale Kraljevo), Romania (Targu Jiu), and The Basketball Tournament (We are D3).
Among many awards, he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Romanian League Import Player of the Year in 2024.
Underwood graduated from the College of Charleston in 2022, and it is his fourth season in pro basketball.
