BCM U FC Arges Pitesti (Liga Nationala) cut 26-year old American 190cm guard Elijah Joiner (college: Iona). In 16 Liga Nationala games, he averaged 8.4ppg, 3.1rpg, and 2.1apg this season. Last season, he played at Kutaisi 2010 (Superleague) in the Georgian league. The team competed in three different competitions that year, and he had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. Joiner played 26 games in the Georgian Superleague, where he recorded 15.0ppg, 4.6rpg, 7.0apg, and 1.2spg. He helped them win the league title and the Supercup. It was a very successful season in his career as he was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Georgian Superleague Guard of the Year, voted to All-Imports Team, and selected to Eurobasket.com All-Georgian Superleague First Team. Joiner played 5 games in FIBA Europe Cup, where he got an impressive 17.4ppg, 5.6rpg, 5.4apg, and 1
He has also played professionally in Georgia, Ukraine (Rivne), and North Macedonia (KK Kumanovo 2009 and KK Feniks 2010 Skopje).
He received the Eurobasket.com All-Ukrainian Superleague Player of the Year award and the Eurobasket.com All-Ukrainian Superleague Import Player of the Year award in 2024.
Joiner graduated from Iona College in 2022, marking his fourth season in pro basketball. He also played for The University of Tulsa for 4 years.
