Defending champion U-Banca Transilvania Cluj Napoca (Liga Nationala) signed 25-year-old American 202cm forward Nighael Ceaser (college: Texas State at San Marcos). Ceaser had already started the season at Igokea in Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I, averaging 8.3ppg and 5.0rpg in four games. He also played 5 games in Basketball Champions League, where he averaged 6.2ppg and 5.8rpg. Last season, he played at ERA Basketball Nymburk (NBL) in the Czech Republic league.
Ceaser has traveled extensively during his pro career, playing in Europe, Australia, and North America. He has played for the Rockets in Australia and Pyrinto in Finland. In 2025, Ceaser won the Czech Republic League championship and cup. He was also voted to the Eurobasket.com All-Czech Republic League All-Defensive Team in 2025.
Ceaser graduated from Texas State at San Marcos in 2023 and it's his third season in pro basketball. He played ppg for Collin County College for 2 years.
