Al Inglizia Sports Club (Premier League) signed experienced 35-year-old American 183cm shooting guard Lamont Jones (college: Iona).

He is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career, he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia, and North America) in ten different countries. He has played professionally in Bahrain (Al-Manama), Finland (Kobrat), Germany (EnBW Ludwigsburg, MBC, and Skyliners), Japan (Volters), Kuwait (Qurain), Montenegro (Mornar), Qatar (Al Rayyan), Saudi Arabia (Al Nasr and Al Ittihad), Turkey (Yalovaspor), and Iraq (Al Shurtah).

Jones, who received Eurobasket.com All-Turkish TBL Player of the Year award and Eurobasket.com All-Turkish TBL Import Player of the Year award in 2021, led his college team to the Iraqi League Cup final in 2024. As he nears retirement age, he may finish his career at Al Iglizia, making this one of his final seasons in the sport.

He graduated from Iona College in 2013 and is now in his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball. He also played for the University of Arizona for 2 years.
