Oleksandr Antypov

KKS Resovia Rzeszow (1Liga) signed 30-year-old Ukrainian ex-international 203cm forward Oleksandr Antypov for the upcoming season. He played for the last two years at LKS Coolpack Lodz. In 17 1Liga games in Poland, he averaged 14.5ppg, 9.2rpg (#5 in the league), and 1.7apg last season. He had a good year and was voted League Player of the Week twice.
He was also a member of the Ukrainian international program for some years. Antypov played for the Ukrainian Senior National Team two years ago and previously for the Under 18 National Team back in 2013.
He has also played in Japan (Samuraiz and United), Ukraine (Khimik, BC Donetsk, Hoverla, BK Donetsk 2nd team, and BK Dnipro 2nd team) and Japan.
Antypov won the Ukrainian Superleague championship title in 2019. He was selected to the Asia-Basket.com Japanese B League D3 All-Imports Team in 2023.
