Grant Sherfield

Trefl Sopot (OBL) signed 26-year old American guard Grant Sherfield (188cm-91kg-1999, college: Oklahoma, agency: Octagon Europe). He started the season at Basketball Loewen Braunschweig in German BBL league. He managed to play in three leagues this year. The team played in four different competitions (!!!) that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 24 BBL games he had 14.0ppg, 1.8rpg and 3.6apg. Sherfield also played 6 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he recorded very impressive stats: 16.0ppg, 2.7rpg, 4.0apg and 1.0spg. And finally he recorded 1 game in Basketball Champions League where he averaged 4 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist. The last season summer he played at Hunan Changsha (NBL) in Chinese league.
He is quite an experienced player. Sherfield has played in five different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia, and North America). He has played professionally in China, France (Metropolitans), Israel (Hapoel Beer Sheva), and Turkey (Yalovaspor).
Among many awards, his team made it to the Israeli Cup Final Four in 2024. Sherfield was also part of the Portsmouth Invitational All-Tournament Team and was voted to All-Big 12 Honorable Mention during his college time in 2023.
He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2023 and is currently in his third season as a professional player. Sherfield played for other colleges such as The University of Nevada and Wichita State University.
