Miasto Szkla Krosno (OBL) signed Marcus Shaver Jr., a 27-year-old American guard standing at 188cm, who played college basketball at Boise State and is represented by MSG agency. Shaver Jr. began the season at Yalovaspor in the Turkish TBL league, where he averaged 14.5ppg, 2.5rpg, 3.5apg, and 1.0spg in four games. In the previous season, he competed for BG Goettingen in the German BBL league and also had a stint with Kapakli Spor Tekirdag in the TBL.
Shaver is a very experienced player, having played professionally in Germany, Czech Republic (Olomoucko), and The Basketball Tournament (Once A Bronco).
Shaver's team reached the Alpe Adria Cup Final Four in 2024. He was selected for the WCC All-Freshman Team in 2018 during his college career.
He graduated from Boise State in 2023 and is currently in his third season in pro basketball. Shaver also played for the University of Portland for one year.
