Lodz adds Lampe to their roster

LKS Coolpack Lodz (1Liga) added experienced 40-year-old Polish-Swedish ex-international power forward Maciej Lampe (210cm-122kg-1985) to their roster. He most recently played at TB Herobears in the Taiwanese D5 league. Lampe had a break from professional basketball during the last four seasons.
In 2003, he was drafted by the New York Knicks (NBA) in the second round (30th overall).
Lampe was also a member of the Polish international program for some years. He played for Polish Senior National Team between 2004 and 2019 and previously for the Under 18 National Team back in 2002.
Lampe is a highly experienced player, having played in eleven different countries across three continents. He has played for teams in Bahrain, China, France, Israel, Russia, Spain, Turkey, the NBA, Poland, and the NBA Summer League.
Among many awards, he played in the final of the Bahrain League in 2020. He was voted to the Asia-Basket.com Chinese CBA All-Imports Team back in 2017. Lampe is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Lodz.
