Jakub Parzenski

Energa Icon Sea Czarni Slupsk (OBL) strengthened their roster with the addition of experienced 34-year-old ex-international 212cm center Jakub Parzenski. He is not a newcomer in the Polish League as he played most recently at Stal. In 7 OBL games in Poland, he recorded 4.9ppg and 3.7rpg last season. He also played for another Polish team, Bears Uniw.Gdanski Trefl Sopot (1Liga).
Parzenski has played also in Italy (Virtus Bologna), Poland (WKS Slask, KKS Basket, Wilki Morskie, HydroTruck and Arka) and Italy.
The scouts describe him as a versatile player who can excel in multiple positions on the field. He has a strong work ethic and shows great leadership qualities both on and off the field. His speed and agility make him a threat to opponents, while his tactical awareness allows him to make smart decisions during crucial moments in the game. Overall, he is a well-rounded player who can make a significant impact on the team.
Jakub grew up in Slask Wroclaw, the most titled basketball club in Poland. He is one of the most promising young big men in Europe, who is physically strong and already has some experience. Jakub has good athleticism and skills. Parzenski can run the floor well and has a nice shooting touch. He is developing his low post moves and is expected to become a very good post player. Good defender and shot blocker. Jakub is often compared to Tiago Splitter.
