Dziki Warszawa (OBL) signed 28-year old American 188cm point guard Darnell Edge (college: FDU, agency: Slash Sports). He recently played at MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg in German BBL league. In 5 games, he averaged 6.6ppg, 1.0rpg, and 2.4apg this season. He also played for Keravnos Strovolou (ECOMMBX BL) in Cypriot league. Edge also played 5 games in Cypriot ECOMMBX BL where he had very impressive stats: 19.0ppg, 3.2rpg, 4.8apg, and 1.0spg.
He is a very experienced player, thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in eight different countries playing on three different continents. Edge is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. He has played professionally in Cyprus, Israel (Ironi Nes Ziona), Kosovo (Trepca), Romania (Dinamo Bucuresti), Turkey (Gemlik and Mersin Spor), Ukraine (Mykolaiv) and Dominican Republic (Indios).
Among many awards, he won the Kosovo League championship title in 2024. Edge received the Eurobasket.com All-Kosovo League Player of the Year award and the Eurobasket.com All-Kosovo League Import Player of the Year award during 2024.
He graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2019 and is currently in his seventh season playing professional basketball.
