Froya Basket Laksevag (BLNO) added 23-year old Swedish forward Jacob Mansson (199cm-2002, college: NJIT, agency: One Motive Sports) to their roster. He has been loaned for the 2025-2026 season after signing a 2 year deal with Alimerka Oviedo Baloncesto in Spanish Primera FEB. Last season he played at Malbas Malmo in Swedish Superettan. In 28 games, he recorded impressive stats: 16.5ppg, 7.9rpg, 3.8apg, and 1.6spg. He helped them reach the semifinals and was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Swedish Superettan Second Team, marking a spectacular season in his career.
Mansson represented Sweden at the FIBA U20 European Championship Division B in Tbilisi (Georgia) three years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 2 ppg and had 1.1 rpg.
He has played professionally in Sweden (Uppsala).
