Sean Pouedet commits to CSUB

Sean Pouedet

California State University Bakersfield strengthened their roster with the addition of 22-year-old Belgian 6-2 point guard Sean Pouedet for the 2026-27 season. He moved there from the University of Dayton, where he played for only one year. In 14 games last season, he recorded just 0.6ppg. His team made it to the Atlantic 10 Tournament Finals in 2026.
He played also at BV Topsportschool U16 Antwerp between 2017-18, Brussels Basketball during 2020-22, and then at House of Talents Kortrijk Spurs during 2022-26. His team made it to the EYBL U16 Division 2 Final Four in 2018. Pouedet was voted to Eurobasket.com All-FIBA U20 European Championship Honorable Mention in 2022. His team made it to the Atlantic 10 Tournament Finals in 2026. Pouedet's team ended regular season as the second-best place in BNXT League in 2025. He helped his team make it to the Belgian Cup Semifinals and Belgian League Semifinals that year. Pouedet was also selected to Eurobasket.com BNXT League All-Europeans Team and Eurobasket.com All-Belgian Pro Basketball League Second Team that season. His team won Belgian Top Division I Regular Season and Belgian Top Division I Championships in 2023.
He represented Belgium at the FIBA U20 European Championship in Greece three years ago. His team reached the Semifinals and he averaged over 5 points per game.
Among many awards, he was also voted to Eurobasket.com All-European Championship (FIBA EuroBasket) U16 Division B Honorable Mention in 2019.
