Noah Norgaard will continue his college career at Hilltoppers

Western Kentucky University signed 18-year-old Danish 6-2 guard Noah Norgaard for the upcoming season. He hails from Copenhagen, Denmark, and is transferring from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he played for one year. In 33 games last season, he averaged 7.6ppg, 2.1rpg, and 1.5apg. Norgaard played a key role in helping his team reach the SoCon Tournament Semifinals in 2026.
Norgaard played at Spanish Basketball Academy between 2022-23, Cajasiete Canarias San Cristobal U19 team during 2023-24, Nautico Tenerife during 2023-24, and then at Fundacion CB Canarias Santa Cruz for one season. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-FIBA U16 European Championship Division B Honorable Mention in 2023. Norgaard received Eurobasket.com All-FIBA U18 EuroBasket Division B Most Valuable Player and Eurobasket.com All-FIBA U18 EuroBasket Division B Best Guard award in 2025. He was also selected to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish U19 League Second Team and Eurobasket.com All-FIBA U18 EuroBasket Division B First Team that year.
Norgaard represented Denmark at the FIBA U16 European Championship Division B in Pitesti (Romania) three years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 16.4 points per game and had 3.8 rebounds per game.
