Unicaja Malaga (Liga Endesa) added experienced 34-year old Montenegrin-American ex-international guard Justin Cobbs (191cm-86kg-1991, college: California, agency: Octagon Europe) to their roster after he was tested there shortly. He started the season at Mersin Spor in Turkish Liga Endesa. In 16 games he had 10.6ppg, 1.5rpg and 3.6apg. He also played 8 games in Basketball Champions League where he recorded 9.9ppg, 1.1rpg and 3.1apg.
Cobbs has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2015. He was a member of Montenegrin Senior National Team between 2020 and 2022.
Cobbs is a highly experienced player. His career has taken him to three different continents, where he has played in eight different countries. He has experienced life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, and North America. Cobbs has played professionally in Croatia (Cedevita), France (Gravelines Dunkerque and Le Mans), Germany (Bayern Muenchen and Skyliners), Japan (Alvark), Latvia, Montenegro (Buducnost), and Slovenia (Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana).
Among many awards, his team made it to the Turkish Cup Final Four in 2025. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Turkish League Honorable Mention in 2025.
Cobbs graduated from the University of California in 2014 and is currently in his twelfth season as a professional player. He also played for the University of Minnesota for one year.
