Milija Mikovic (ex Sloboda T.) agreed terms with Targu Mures

CS Municipal Targu Mures (Liga Nationala) strengthened their roster with the addition of 31-year-old Montenegrin ex-international 205cm power forward Milija Mikovic, agency: Interperformances. He already started the season at OKK Sloboda Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I. In four games, he recorded very impressive stats: 17.3ppg, 4.3rpg, 1.3apg, and 1.5spg. He also played 3 games in ABA League where he averaged remarkable 15.7ppg, 7.3rpg, 1.0apg, and 1.3spg.
He split time between KK Vrijednosnice Osijek in the Croatian league and KK Podgorica Bemax in the Montenegrin league last season.
Mikovic was also a member of the Montenegrin international program for some years. He played for Montenegrin Senior National Team between 2017 and 2022 and previously for the Under 20 National Team back in 2014.
Mikovic is a very experienced player, having played in Croatia (Gorica and Sibenka), Hungary (Zalakeramia ZTE KK), Slovenia (Sentjur), and Montenegro (Mornar).
In 2022, Mikovic's team reached the Montenegrin Cup final. Mikovic was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Croatian Premijer Liga Honorable Mention in 2021.
